I have recently encountered a problem with loss of power and excessive black smoke at the exhaust. This only happens after warm up (approx 10 minutes). Until it warms up it acts normal. I also hear louder than normal knocking when this condition begins. I notice fire leaving the exhaust pipe as well. All of this leads me to believe the pump is putting out too much fuel after the engine warms up... Not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome Doug!
Sorry you didn't get a response sooner.
I haven't heard of your exact symptoms before. Excessive fuel should first act like a lot of throttle: more power vs. less or a runaway condition. A restricted air intake may cause the loss of power/rich fuel combination. Maybe a wasp nest or something. Loss of compression is another possibility.
I have had my pump act up when I was delinquent in maintaining the lubricating oil in the sump of the injector pump. Mine tends to slowly get contaminated with fuel. I try to change it every 6 months or so.
If your engine crankcase somehow got overfilled e.g. fuel leaked in there it could be possible that you are getting some of that in the cylinders. If that were the case though you would have a runaway engine that would not shut off on command.
