Based on Quikduk's parts list thread in the Jinma board what do you guys with 554s think would be a good list of support parts for our tractors. I figure:
1. Injectors 2. Starter 3. head gasket and lower end gasket kit 4. Hyd pump 5. TPH lift rebuild kit 6. Steering cyl rebuild 7. PTO seal

After doing a little research on the parts front myself I am more worried about the tractor parts such as steering sectors, axle parts etc... The engines, starters and associated parts are used on everything from tractors to generators so you can get them from several different vendors.
Just a thought for what it's worth.

We keep a large supply of Jinma parts, and started bringing in Foton tractors and parts a few years ago.Alot of the parts are common with these tractors.Remember that China use's these tractors also and the USA import is a very small amount of there production every year. They just don't get the bells and whistles we get LE,HD,ect.they are plain jane, but the drive train, transmissions are the same.I wish they would stick with the Yangdong Y380 & Y385 and the TY395 E-1 instead of the other engines,we have to ask the customers alot of questions or get pic's to make sure we send out the right parts. We get containers in monthly, and air freight parts all the time.If you feel better keeping some spare parts then get some.Chip has done a great job with the Kama parts so I will leave them up to him to stock,we have 2-warehouses full of parts and some shopping carts for the customer that like to shop.We also have a online parts store that we add parts to almost everyday. The problem with you ordering spare parts is are they the right spare part??You will not know for sure until you need it,and if's not you still have to buy the right one. We stock all of the parts mentions so far in this thread, with the exception of some flap paper gaskets. We normally make our own or use aresol gasket in a can, depending on application. the quality of the gaskets the factory supplys (other than head gaskets which they apparently buy) are pretty poor, In fact we have a hard time between the shelf and the shipping counter without tearing them, no kidding. This applys to the KAMA/Taishan factory made gaskets. I would be happy to let customers pay to stock parts they dont need, but for now it is probably best for everyone just to buy them when they need them. We have every intention of continuing to purchase and stock parts for these tractors as long as they continue to be available to us from China.
