Hi Parry, I know you will like this site too. I'm glad you decided to give it a look and sign up. We can use your expert input in many areas, so have at it! How's your tractor doing? You have the same one as I and Brad do right? A Kama 554? Rob-

Parry and TJ,
Welcome to CTW, hope to see many interesting posts from you guys.
Parry, Rob mentioned "We can use your expert input in many areas-" what would that be? so we know who to go to for what.
TJ - hows that custom built entertainment center nook of yours coming along?
Larry

I work at Aberdeen proving Ground MD. I was a test and evaluation mechanic for many years at Aberdeen before getting another job. Over the years I have worked on or tested nearly everything in the US inventory and many things that didn't make the grade. Prior to working at Aberdeen I spent 5 years in the Coast Guard as a Machinery Technician. In my spare time I served as a Air Force flight engineer on C130 air craft for about 19 years in the National Guard. Call me slow, but could anyone give me a short answer on what happened over at CTOCF?

Parry, Thanks for the get back on your mechanical and aeronautical expertise. Did you ever get to blow stuff up? I salute you for your service to our great country. THANK YOU! So what happened at CTOCF? It blew up. Joe did not like the fact that Rob, myself and others were supporting and posting on other forums. He was also kicking off people left and right because they did not own Chinese tractors or were waiting for their tractor to arrive from China. He was implementing more and more restrictive and silly rules that none of could support. For instance, if you were waiting for your tractor you were forbidden to give any advise on anything as supposedly you did not know what you were talking about. We saw the writing on the wall and knew our days were numbered. This Forum was started, when he caught wind of that, all the secondary administrators (Rob and I), and moderators were fired along with any regular member who joined this forum. Some of us were able to copy our posts over to here before it all got nuked. Others were not so lucky. The stakes were pretty high as Rob, Matthew, Ken, Tim, Bigg Kidd, myself and others posts were in the 15 thousand range, we had spent thousands of man hours documenting all kinds of maintenance, mods and other projects. SO to lose it all to one nut case was a huge disappointment to say the least. Larry

Hey Larry, The fireplace project has had to go on hold for the last couple of weeks, as the winter weather has had priority. Kids out of school for 5 of seven days the last two weeks, highwaus closed all over with 8' drifts, all that. I will try to post some pix later. Take care, TJ.
