I rigged up this mirror on the cheap but it works. It is a car visor clip on mirror from Walmart for less than $4. I removed the clips and was able to get narrow band hose clamps in their place.
I used a scrap of coil stock flashing as a backing plate to help with the heat factor. But the exhaust doesn`t really get all that hot and I used this mirror all summer long with no issues.I added a large fish eye blind spot stick on mirror to the top side.
It`s a big help when driving on the public roads, it really saves my aching neck from all the head swiveling I used to do before I had it. I find car drivers love to get right up on your rear end, I guess it`s the slow speed and the curiosity factor. I just like to know whats behind me, I dislike surprises.
