The stock Jinma rear work light is a rugged good looking fixture. The illumination it provided is however another issue. Mine reminded me of the light provided by the souvenir flashlight I got at the circus when I was six years old. I found a set of Euro-style quartz halogen driving lights at a clearance odd lot type of store for $10. They are I believe 50watts each and they measure 3 3/4ins by 2 1/2ins by 2 1/2ins deep. I removed the socket assembly from the stock light and starting at the now empty hole in the center of the reflector using aviation snips I slowly and carefully created an opening in the reflector for this new self contained quartz fixture to nest in. You don`t use the mounting brackets that come with the lights, no need for them. When I got it just right I wired it in and closed up the stock fixture. It works great, I now throw light 40 feet behind my tractor instead of 4 feet and I kept the rugged stock light. The second light laying on top for perspective Sorry for the focus, Here is the quartz driving light How it looks

Paul, Now thats a bright IDEA. How do they work? Is your alternator able to keep up with the draw? Nice Job. I sure could use a set. But I wont need them until warmer weather. I am not working at night while its freezing. KIDD

Hey Kidd, The light doesn`t draw that much, I sometimes have it on with the headlights along with the two driving lights I mounted on the ROPS. At idle the ampmeter is a little on the negative side but at working rpms the alternator does fine at running all the lights.
Paul.

A 50W light should pull about 4A of current at 12VDC
