I came across this saying today and thought it deserved to be posted here for all to read, comment and reflect on.

"A veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in his or her life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to, and including my life."

I too salute all the brave man and women who serve our great nation, let there be no doubt without so many laying their life on the line throughout the generations, we might not continue to enjoy all the freedom and liberties we do today.
