Hi Paul,
I was beginning to wonder when you were going to have to round up the big orange gourds for the annual decorations. Looks like the weather was absolutely gorgeous for picking. How many pounds and how long did it take you? Biting your tong once a year is a small price to pay for being able to keep your tractors. Maybe your could secretly squish one "by mistake" with your grapple that might be therapeutic LOL.

LOL Larry. I think I`ll do that when she wants them gone at the end of November. The weather was perfect that morning, we got there at 9:30 and between picking and socializing with my friend Lenny the farmer we spend a good couple of hours, home by 12:30. The poundage I don`t have a clue, we pay for the filled cardboard bin, this year it was $50. I can tell you the weight was noticable in my F150 riding back through the fields. It really is a fun fall tradition, and I`m quite anal at picking them out, I only take perfect pumpkins, and they must have a nice stem. At least it got me away from taping drywall for the day.
