Need help/info, if anyone knows. First, Rob.. I hope you don't mind if I pirate one of your photos. Mine front final drive looks VERY similar and you did an excellent job of labeling your photo. To the point... I lost this drain plug from my TS354c. ...fell out ! ...and I can't find it... and don't know what size it is. Followed the oil trail to its origin and searched that area by hand... nadda.. It's probably in that small area somewhere, but will take forever to find (if at all)... figured it might be easier just to replace it. It's the one part NOT shown in my parts manual.. neither in the list nor on the exploded view. I pulled the one from the other side (which was also scary loose) to see if I could figure it out. I expect it's going to be metric... but doesn't match any of my metric thread pitch gauges. It is tapered (pipe thread) and is larger than an 1/8" pipe plug with a much more coarse pitch. Planning on hitting Lowes and/or TSC tomorrow to see if I can find one that matches but figured somebody here might already know. Now... debating on some form of locktite or at silicone on my drain plugs from now on.

Jake, Since it's a drain plug, try a 1/4NPT plug. If that's not it, get a 1/4NPT tap and cross tap in there if you want. Then use Teflon tape. Otherwise it's a 1/4BSP plug. Either way will work, whichever is quickest. It's just a plug. Rob-

crap.. Thanks for the info. If it's not a 1/4 NPT, then maybe a little more searching before making a decision. Thanks again.

ya know... I think my visual judgement must be off a little today... 'cause i know 1/4" pipe thread is about 1/2" in diameter... and I didn't think it looked that big... but just measured it... and it is. ..and since it didn't match any of the metric thread pitches (can't find my std tap set at the moment), I'm guessin' it IS gonna be 1/4 NPT.
Thanks again.. Jake
