The politicians just don't get it. We need money spent on the infrastructure of this country. Nuclear power plants, high speed electric trains crisscrossing the country, incentives to auto makers to get plug in commuter cars produced at affordable prices.
This country will never be what it once was as long as we are held hostage by exorbitant energy prices.
This all started as oil prices increased. Even people with high interest mortgages were making their payments till gas prices tripled along with the cost of everything else. Sub prime mortgage crisis my ass. Sure the variable rate loans weren't a good fit for some people but, most were getting by.
I know I don't have near as money to play on as I did 3 years ago.

I paid $3.14 yesterday in Jersey (full service too) ;D So glad to hear my retirement is going to recover now I be able to retire before I'm 80 Watched a video on Foreclosure ally and there's more to the problem then high energy prices and I don't pretend to know the answer (unlike our elected officals) -Ed
