Nice looking tractor. Are you getting the tooth bar on the bucket?
If you do. Dig careful. The hydraulics are stronger than the tractor, lol.

Supposed to get it Wed... Fully assembled by Jinma. Hi Scott, That sure is a nice looking machine you are getting. Just a note for you, be sure to check out the left front steering knuckle plate on your tractor. The plate that both the tierod and power steering ram bolt to. On my tractor that plate failed at 30 hours, none of that work was heavy or the machine abused in any way. It is cast iron so may be subceptable to shock failure. Otherwise, those machines are good and I am happy with mine. mariner

Small fuck up with the time the docs were submitted so since the papers weren't posted till Wed (Last week) and then MLK day Monday... Tomorrow will be 5 days customs has had the papers. The Trucking co is on stand-by wait to take delivery. This rain we are having sucks too... So if I don't get the container till Monday maybe the weather will be better anyways... it would suck unloading all that shit in the rain.

Scott told me Monday is out now because of the rain and snow we're having out here. Several highways are closed and the yard will be muddy, wet and cold. Loretta is bummed she couldn't be there to unveil Honey Bee. WTF is up with the weather? No Global warming in Southern California. Looks like we'll be shooting for Tuesday.
Jim, did you get the replacement part for your 554 steering casting? Rob-

Jim, did you get the replacement part for your 554 steering casting? Rob- Hi Rob, Yes the weather sure is different this year -especially southern Cal. You guys have had bush fires, very heavy rains, snow, ice - did I miss anything? I guess it is because of the global warming/climate changes all over the place. Where I am it is /was -36C (or -32F) this morning, though the sun is now out and we have blue skies, but heck it is cold in the slight breeze out there!! We also have the most snow over Nov. - Jan. period for years, so the locals tell me. So, how long is the weather going to hold you guys up from getting your new toys? Hopefully it will clear up in a day or so. I should receive the part sometime today - should have been here on Friday but it didn't happen. So today if I am lucky. I doubt I will put it on until maybe the weekend when the temperature is supposed to rise to around -10C. That I can deal with easily. Hope I have the right part - the parts book says from 40hp to 65hp. These tractors apparently share a lot of the same parts. You have your Kama parts yet? Cheers Jim

I just read your thread so I see you got the right part for your tractor. My parts for the front end repair is on the same container as Scott's and Loretta's tractors. I was hoping dearly to get them last week when Larry was visiting so he could help me with the re-assembly. There's a shit load of gears to put back. I'll migrate that thread over here showing the progress. The only thing we got was Larry's injector pump which was sent DHL to Scott. We picked it up during our luncheon visit last Friday.
Scott, we are still on for tomorrow at 10:00 right? This time I'm bringing my son Matthew up to help. I ran out of people who can take vacation time. ;D Rob-

It should make short order of the unloading because I need all day to Bolt on my canopy... Then when we are done unloading we will go mud bogging with it...

I spent a week at Robs camp screwing around waiting for all this Chinese tractor stuff to show up. All of Rob's stuff was broken, so no tractor rides. I did get to drive his Contractors John Deer Skid Steer, go pig hunting, ATV riding, Skeet shooting, and target practice with all of Robs arsenal of weaponry, that was a blast. Make sure you post a boat load of pics of all the action. Larry

OK! Now I'm officially a Chinese tractor Owner!!! I wish there was a club I could join so I could post about it... I guess this place will have to do... LOL Here are some pics of the unloading process and extensive labor involved to make [glow=yellow,2,300] The Hornet[/glow]ready for action. Yesterday I assembled the Tiller, Post Hole digger, Dump trailer, 3 Tine Ripper and 6ft Box Blade... I actually did some road grading and mud bogging.
