I made the mistake of "upgrading" to Internet Explorer 8 along with some virus cleaning/screening. Now when I log on to my web sites including this one, I don't get the current updated forum entries but always the same old dated ones I was viewing just before the updates.
Any suggestions as to what to change so that the latest entries launch?

I'd suggest doing what I did - switch to Foxfire 3.5. So much better than Internet Exploder I can't believe I didn't do it sooner.

I had the same problem. I deleted IE8 and now use Google Chrome and Foxfire. Most the time I use Google Chrome but you can't print pages with it so then I use Foxfire. Both work way faster than IE ever did. I'll not ever use IE again.

Bruce,
Hope you don't mind, I moved your post from the Jinma section to the general discussion area. Sorry to here you "up graded" to IE8 and are having issues. It must have blown away your cookies? and that's why your not seeing what you saw before? Bummer if the cookies were deleted then your out of luck unless of course they are in the recycle bin and can be restored.
MS sucks!

Hmmm "tossing your cookies" & viruses go hand in hand. How can I get the appropriate cookies back; by reloading the CTW subscription? Or is there an easier way?

I don't use MS, I use "Flock", based on Fire Fox and integrated with Photobucket and Flicker, it's great for posting photos. I use the older version as I like the photo bar better, but if you download it off the net, you'll get the new version with all the bells a whistles. Its free, it can be easily customized to your liking and it's very easy to use. I've used it for years and never had an issue with it. I try new browsers once in a while, but never found one I like better than Flock! PJ
