On our FT404, there is a parking brake lever right to the drivers seat. It's connected to the foot brakes via an adjustable wire. After ~52 hours that wire broke near to the brake handle.
I consider this to be a design flaw, since this is a vital component and should last longer. I've seen some tractor vendors/models has the parking brake near the foot brakes, perhaps a better implementation.
Any commments on parking brakes on the Foton tractors? Any hints to help the replacement wire to last longer?

We just got a mail from the Swedish FOTON distributor, containing spare parts. It did contain both a new brake wire and a fuel sensor. I will replace the brake wire at earliest convenience, but hold some time for the fuel sensor.
P.S. Winter is knocking at the door here in middle of Sweden.

It's really great that you have a dealer you like. Fast service is an asset when we have something broken and need the part now, not two months later. I have a problem here, as all my parts have to come by mail or I have to travel 4 hours one way, (8 hr total trip), for parts. But that's ok for me as I like the tractor so much, I'll wait for parts if I need them. I have other tractors to take it's place if needed. PJ
