I use my Foton for everything, including; Think they'd let me take it to town for groceries? The hired help ?? pulling fence posts; Oh well, some people just like to ham it up! Picking up old barbed wire, what a mess, I hate the stuff! Well, let's see what you use yours for!

That's a nice set up you've got there Quikduk. I've got to get one of those post hole augers. The ones they use in Eastern Oklahoma has to have a heavy duty gear box and teeth on the cutting edge due to the rocky ground along with a slip clutch on the PTO. Is your fencing vinyl ? Were thinking of putting up about a 1,000 feet of it in the front of the property because it looks so nice. Does it hold up well and how's the maintenance on it? Some people told me it gets mildew on it after a while. Have you had that problem? PJ

I was thinking about a post hole digger also for eastern OK. I think the solution is a bucket mounted hydraulic one. This will allow it to reverse when the auger becomes hung up on a rock or root. Having it on the side of the bucket also makes it more manuverable and easier to see. Tytan tractor site shows one that I am going to inquire about. With them in Washington state the shipping would be high. Maybe one of the dealers on this board carry a similar one.

unfortunately the "thread" is on Joe's site and he won't let me in !! Dick What's with him baning people from his site? Is this a control thing? I've always thought he sounded like a pretty nice guy, but my thoughts on that are starting to change. I thought only women got this way while going through the change of life. Oh well, what can I say. I don't know the man personally, so I couldn't pass judgment one way or another. It does seem that fewer and fewer people are posting there.

Hmmm, let's see, I've used my tractor(s) for many things now. Huge Kama has over 700hrs and Loretta's Honey Bee has nearly 200hrs it. I have literally thousands of photos, many of which I've shared before. Most recently was using the Jinma to make trenches for the irrigation in the lawns. I made a sub-soiler and also a furrower which fit into Loretta's boxblade. The subsoiler was used to rip the trench and the furrower to clean it out. Both the Kama and the Jinma have been working in preparing the pond area. This is going to be a long term project where we clear the proposed area and dig it at our leisure. There is an area on the South side of the home where there is a small gully. We only need to dam the lower end and dig the pond to a depth of about 8'. We started about a month ago. Each time we move a layer of soil to the dam area, we wet it down and compact it. It's gonna take us a long time, but we are planning on it. Sort of a "fill in" project in between the "have to do" stuff. Rob-

~68 hours on the meter, since early June. ◊ During repair of old houses, moving macadam, soil and stones with the FEL. ◊ Moving wind fallen trees out of our forest, for the saw mill and for our wood fuel storage. ◊ Plowing and keeping the fields open.

Hi all If or when I get my tractor up & running I plan to use it for mowing grass to start with, then move some trees & pull fence post to relocate them.
