Looking for some help on how to put these on without smashing any of my body parts. Do I need all 4 on each wheel or just a couple? What are your thoughts... I have the hardware, how much of torque on these bolts? Thanks guys Roy

I install wheel weights using a fork lift and sliding the forks together. I would install all 4 weights if you have them for the simple reason that, one set is as hard to install as two and two sets will only improve the traction of the tractor. Sorry for the late post. First chock the other side and then jack up the wheel your working on just enough to be able to turn the wheel by hand, then carry the weights into the wheel with the fork lift. As the steel weights and steel forks are slippery, tie the weights with a hold back rope to keep them from falling off the tip of forks, you'll be sorry if you don't! Turn the wheel to line up the holes, shove the bolts in and your home. Hope this helps. PJ

I did not get all the hardware with the weights. I am missing some bolts & those special nuts. I don't have any other powered equipment to lift the weights so for now I will have to ponder how to do that. Right now I am working on getting cement floor in the pole barn & electric on the property. Once I have a floor I do have a engine puller that would pick up the weights, it has wheels so I can move it around. Thanks for the input.

The engine hoist sounds like a decent plan. My wheel weights came bolted in every other hole - 3 bolts per set.
A dealer might be the best source for the bolts. Otherwise Fastenal or Mcmaster-Carr have good selections of bolts or high strength allthread rod if the bolts are hard to find. McMaster has a good selection and description of various types of nuts.

Next trip to the farm I will try to take a picture of the bolts & the weird nuts. I saw the wheel that the weights came off of & the bolts were still on the rim. ( to rusted to break them free & get them off the rim )

An engine hoist will only work if the weights are outside of the wheel. Usually their deep inside and that's why I use a fork lift to remove or replace them. If their half weights, it makes it a little easier to do the job. Needless to say, there's no fun involved. PJ
