So, got the new tractor running. Now in my first hour of playing I've torn up my turf something fierce  Time for turf tires I'm assuming there's a set 'size' I have to get to maintain the proper gear ratios for 4wd? What are these sizes? Also, are there differences in brands/tread design? Any advice for the newbie? |

Check out to see if you can change to turf tires I remember when ordering that different tire types were not interchangeable due to factory gearing. Gearing had to be change to change tire style. And was surprised when I read it -Ed

And was surprised when I read it -Ed If you have 4wd, I know it's not possible to simply change only the rears to turf tires as they are shorter and thus the rolling speed front to rear would be all wrong and you'd bind the center differential. However, if both front and rear are changed to ratiometrically equivalent smaller tires then the gearing will not be affected, right?. Did I miss something here? I simply need to know what those tire sizes are... |

Yes there is a problem even with changing out all 4 tires! (That's why I was surprised when I heard about it) Just check it out before buying another set of tires I am not an expert just repeating what I've heard JMHO -Ed
