These are from my sons 2 yrs in Iraq. The 1st one is in Arutba on the Syrian boarder. Kyle is the one holding the machine gun. The 2nd one was of mig that had been buried at al Asad air base in western Iraq. The third one is a picture of them goofing around and swinging off a rope at the dam in Haditha. I had another of him fishing with an AK47 but I can't locate it.

The 2 tours he did in Iraq were the worst 2 yrs of my life. I was so worried that 1st yr After he got home I ended up in the hospital with 7 way bypass surgery.
I know the worry wasn't all the problem, diet and genes played a part but, the worry was the nail in the coffin so to speak.
He almost got killed several times.
His second tour he was stop lossed and forced to go back. He's home now and out the army. Attending college and working at the UPS hub in Louisville at night.

Dwayne, Thank you for posting the pictures of your son and I am so glad he is back to you safe and sound. It must be a huge weight off your shoulders to have him back and no more worry. Two sons (of different family's ) of friends of mine back in the UK are serving in Afghanistan and I don't think their parents know what a good nights sleep is right now. The sooner it's all over the better!! Dick
