Thought I would post a few Pictures of my Jinma 6" Wood Chipper. Esther and I cut wood up on our property so there's lots of branches to clean up. We chip the branches to reduce fire danger and help keep our forest clean of debris. I ordered the chipper with my tractor and have used it quite often. I think it weighs somewhere around 800 pounds, has an auto feed roller and a very large hopper chute for gnarly branches. Here's an over all shot of it ready to go: Here's a small pile of the chips it makes: Sometimes we shoot the chips right into either a dump trailer or the small ATV trailer for landscaping around the house. It has a number of safety features, like these warning labels: And this one here: I run it off the PTO in the 720 RPM setting and throttle up the Engine to 1500 RPM it runs great at that RPM and the engine is not screaming for long periods of time while we chip. After I dis-engage the PTO it takes about a couple of minutes to completely stop . The 24" fly wheel spins around 1250 RPM. Larry

Esther just loves the chipper, I think she's fascinated by how it just swallows up and chips the branches into little pieces in no time flat. This is a video of her feeding the chipper: I did not have any large 6" pieces to show it's capacity, but had this 3" short log to show what it can do: Overall these chippers are a great value for the money as they work very well. I have not had to fix any thing. There are a few Zerk fittings to grease, some belts to tighten every once in a while and thats about it. Larry

One "mod" I did a while ago was to sharpen the teeth on the feed roller, Oh man what a difference that made. The roller bites into anything fed into the chipper. No more spoon feeding the chipper, it sucks everything right into it now. This is before I sharpened them: This is after sharpened: Here is the feed roller drive. Matthew wanted to see it, I think he wants to make a chipper from scratch or something. In the picture I have it apart so that I could remove the roller to sharpen it. Here is the feed roller drive in action: And the main PTO belt drive - Five belts: Larry

Here is a side view showing the foot lever mod. I added this little gem to raise the feed roller so I did not have to reach over the chipper feed hopper to raise the roller with the OEM lever. You will find it comes in handy for those larger and or very gnarly branches. With this mod you can keep both hands free for feeding while steeping on the foot lever to raise the roller. It's made out of 1" scrap rebar I had laying around: Larry
