I was wondering if anyone knew the value of this thing? Dorthy the owner of the metal shop I frequent and plasma cut parts at has a customer who wants to buy it. She has no idea what price to ask. The motor is a 208 three phase. I think it's a drill / tool sharpener on steroids: Larry

Larry, If someone doesn't have an obvious answer, I suggest that you get all the information from the machine labels (model, etc) and do a search on the Internet. I tried searching Sterling, but there are too many companies with that name. RonJ

It is a drill sharpener, and a big one at that. I doubt it could sharpen the smaller drills that most of us use. Once you get down under 1/8" diameter drills, one to use a cam type machine which this one is not.

Hi Brad, Thanks for that link to Grizzly. Cleaning it up is a good idea, I also have to wire it up because it's missing the power cord. There is about a ton of steel, aluminum and brass that need to be moved in order to get to it. I so look forward to that. Another thing I learned about metal by working there part time is that it's only heavy when you have to pick it up. For instance, most of their steel plate comes in 4' by 8' sheets like plywood. I worked with allot of plywood over the years. I had no idea a 4x8 sheet of 3/8 plate steel weighs 489 pounds! Larry
