I started using a product that apparently has been around for many years used in countless applications. It is called Fluid Film and is the closest thing to genuine "snake oil" that I have ever seen. This stuff is good for everything and I can highly recommend it, I have gone through about 4 gallons of it so far. www.fluid-film.com/No kidding I love the stuff, I so far have used it to undercoat my new pickup truck, my friends new pickup, and to coat the ribbon chains of my antique 2 post car lift. Being a true skeptic I tried hard on the internet to find one person who had a bad thing to say about it, all I could find were countless pros and not a single con. Utube is full of videos of peoples experiments with the stuff and it has just taken off big in Korea. It is what the farmers used to call "sheep oil", it is basically just lanolin and metal loves it. I have been buying it by by the 5 gallon bucket and using the gun they sell to apply it. I believe John Deere dealers have been carrying it for years, it is wonderful stuff. Paul

Well I went and picked up my second 5gal bucket of this wonderful stuff, it has an indefinite shelf life so storing it is not a problem and I`m sure the price of this product is only going to go up as it becomes more popular worldwide.

Yep -- its good stuff -- I use it to spray on the snowblower chute and generally on parts I do not want to rust. It was first recommended to me by a guy who restores wood cook stoves to keep the cast iron surface rust free. - I have been using it ever since but it is expensive in the spray can (about $12 here). If you are a wood worker be careful not to get it on a wood surface -- very difficult to get out

I saw on utube that in Korea they are using it to treat log cabins, apparently it is a good nontoxic wood preservative too. The place by me has sold me the 5gal buckets for $130 all in, I think he gets $7 for the aerosol can. It is great on auto vinyl, shines better that any treatment I`ve ever used, they claim it will restore an oxidized car paint job, just spray it on and rub it in like wax. Utube is full of videos of people experimenting with this stuff, I haven`t found a single bad thing written about the stuff on the internet, that`s pretty rare.
