Last weekend I went to Santa Fe to help my BIL Alan install a TNT on his his Korean Kioti 30 HP tractor. I found all the cylinders he needed from Redlandhill, fittings and hoses from discount hydraulic hose, and the prince 3 spool mono-block valve from surplus center. We decided to make all our own hoses, so I had him order 6 sets (12ea) of the # 6 JIC swivel X 3/8" reusable hydraulic hose ends. and 50 feet of 3/8" R100 1 wire hose. The Valve fit nicely on the right steel fender and is within easy reach from the operators seat, or while standing behind the tractor. Larry

Maybe you were wondering how we cut the hose? I brought my 7 dollar Harbor freight 3" pneumatic cut off tool and a 10 pack of abrasive wheels The cut off wheels are made in Russia, so not everything from HF is made in China Here is a Video of how we cut the hose. The re-enforcement wires are spring steel and pretty darn tough, I do not recommend trying to use a band saw to cut through it. I know this because I tried about three years ago and my blade was trashed in my one time attempt to cut through. WARNING!!!! If you cannot stand the sound of a dental drill tool, turn your sound down before clicking on the video link! Oh forgot to mention the burning rubber smelled wonderful Larry

Thanks Jake. When you get some time, maybe copy over your TNT install. As I recall it came out looking mighty fine. Don't forget to post all about your BH as well. BTW you been using that thing?

Nice work Larry. That install came out sano! I'll bet your brother in law is just tickled pink. How long has he had that tractor without the top n' tilt? It looks fairly new and clean.

The commercial hose cutter we use at work has a smooth edge steel blade like a meat slicer. It seems to burn or melt its' way through the wire. The hose is forced against it with a lever assembley. Makes an extremly smooth cut very quickly.
