I finally installed the larger capacity hydraulic pump that I purchased from Affordable about 2 years ago. It made the FEL on my 554 move faster witth the engine at lower RPM. Worked well and was a simple bolt on installation.
I can make these mods now that I am retired and living in OK with my tractor.

Congratulations on the mod and on your retirement!
What was your original pump, 12cc/rev? As I recall the upgrade was 20cc. Mine came with a 16cc pump so I didn't opt for the upgrade.

Yes, way to go on the installation.
My original pump was a 12cc, I think, so it made a big difference. Especially running the hydraulic log splitter off it.

Sorry for replying to an old thread. My 554 has the pump located above the pto shaft. Will the cbn-320 fit there. Any idea where I can get english manuals for the tractor?
