Hey Guys, Had my DFS454 almost a year now. Not used it a huge amount so far but time to get it back out of the shed now to slash the paddock. I need to do the 12 month service - and my local Hitec Oils contact has sold me Fleetmaster CI-4 for the machine. Says it's better than the farm oil universal stuff they sell. Any advice? I need to top up the power steering tank as it's leaked out over summer. Just wanted to check it's the right stuff. Cheers.

My mistake - the power steering uses DX III. It's the oil for the rest of the fluids.

If your transmission and drive train are separate from the hydraulics, then use 80W-90 gear oil in the trans and AW-32 or AW-46 (depending on your climate) hydraulic fluid in the lift box sump. 15W-40 motor oil in the engine sump and fuel injector pump. If your tractor has a common sump, for transmission and hydraulics, then use UTF - Universal Tractor Fluid in there.
