Hey Larry, That turned out really nice. Fantastic workmanship!
The first time quick connect video is a hoot. It actually highlights the important safety practice of making sure the connection is secure.
The hydraulic flow is impressive on the Jubilee. Is that an add-on pump? Is that the pump and tank on the front? I'm sure you described it in the past but I don't remember it.

Thanks Fly, The videos are a breeze ever since I discovered Microsoft movie maker is installed by default on windows XP. Great job Larry, can't wait to see it painted. Are you considering painting the old Jubilee too? That sure has been a good tractor for you. I was just thinking how far we've all come with all the modifications we do ourselves on our tractors over and above the recommended service and maintenance. You are a prime example of using your talents to do all the work yourself....very impressive. It wasn't too long ago we were all afraid to do anything to our tractors. Now you are making your own loader and buckets and such. Awesome Larry!! Rob- Thanks for your comments Rob, Yea it's amazing the stuff many of us do to our tractors these days. I'll restore the old Ford after I build a new shop / barn which should be about 4 years from now. Ed said I should take a look at the wheels, so I took off the fronts, had the tires removed, then replaced the inner tubes because the valve stems were rotting away. I sandblasted the rims and painted with OEM colors. WOW does that ever look great. Take a look..... Front wheels before: Front wheels after: With the wheels removed, I replaced the inner and outer bearings, races and seals, I also replaced the spindle bushings and bearings while I was at it. That kind of stuff is easy to get off eBay and plenty of other aftermarket sources. Here are a few pics of the FEL primed... Hey Larry, That turned out really nice. Fantastic workmanship! You may have noticed my wife Esther cracking up behind the camera. Thanks for your compliments and safety reminder. The problem I was having was the pins were not engaging, that's why the bucket fell off. I know how it works now! The pump is direct drive off the front crankshaft pulley. Ford makes a splined pulley to add a shaft for such purposes. I added that pump and tank I am guessing about 24 years ago when I found the FEL for $750.00. Obviously the tank is home made from three sections of 1/4" wall x 10" dia pipe I scavenged. I installed a 149 micron suction strainer and a 10 micron return filter. The tank easily holds 5 gallons of hydraulic fluid. The pump is cast iron ~ 12 GPM @ 2000 RPM from Northern. I think one time or another they were called Northern Hydraulics? Here are a few close ups of that pump: Larry

One more thing about the hydraulics I forgot to mention. Because I have such a high flow rate available ~ 12 GPM to drive the 2.5" id lift cylinders, I have an adjustable priority flow divider supplying the back hoe. It is adjusted somewhere around 5-6 GPM so that the speed of the hoe matches my reflex reactions. Those priority flow dividers work great. I think they work on the "black magic" principal. I have two of them installed on the Jinma, one for the grapple so that the grapple clamp speed is predictable no matter what RPM the engine is running and one for the TNT cylinders.

Nice tour of the add-on hydraulics. You did nice work back then but I think your style has improved in the meantime.
The flow divider valves sound cool. I had an Air Force radio theory instructor who referred to it as the "FM Principle" (FM for f___in' magic)
